FTC Image Tarnished Over Embellishment in CAN SPAM Act Support

Author: Lance Winslow

Once again the FTC; Federal Trade Commission has embarrassed the Department of Justice in the media, but falsely claiming that the FTC had something to do with the reduction of SPAM. First the reduction is not measurable and second the FTC did not do anything of any value. Sure they filed a few lawsuits and tried to intimidate SPAMMERS, but mostly they were so busy in public relations tooting their own horn it would be hard to actually believe that they helped.

In fact I believe that the Federal Trade Commissions image is further tarnished over their obvious misrepresentation, trickery and embellishment of their role in the CAN SPAM Act. Should we call for a culling of that little agency with brass balls but no game, should we dismiss the FTC to the chopping block of government budget cuts and get rid of it once and for all. Should we cull it to keep its public relations tactics and purporting of lies to the American people and disgorge it from its ill-gotten gains of budgetary finance. The FTC is nothing more than a Shrill Agency to scare and strike fear into the very consumer they claim to protect. Should we not demand the heads of the Consumer Division there, which claims they helped reduce SPAM? Should we not have everyone in that Consumer Division of the FTC fired and lose their pension contributions and be de-bared if they are lawyers and put on a black list for government jobs? Well I believe we should and we should do this now. Thank you for listening to my truthful opinion and think on it.
